Join us at 6:30 pm with Jessica Sills from We Rock the Spectrum
Jessica is a Speech Pathologist who also runs We Rock the Spectrum, a sensory gym. She will be coming to the center to discuss the importance of meeting sensory needs first for individuals with autism, as well as provide strategies on how parents can meet these needs in the home environment. The Castellani Art Museum of Niagara University presents Think BIG: The Artists of Autism Services. Featured artists will include Dan Carey, Langston Gardner, Erich Haneberg, Kevin Krauss, James Marino, Daniel Maysonet, Courtney McGovern, and Brandon Scott. The exhibition is free and open to the public.

DECEMBER 3 | WORKSHOP: AUTISM: THE TEENAGE YEARS

Join us at 6:30 pm with Alanna Lipinski, licensed psychologist at The Summit Center Behavioral Pediatrics Clinic
The teenage years are tough – with or without autism. Alanna will discuss the teenage years and how having an autism spectrum disorder factors into this stage of life. A question and answer discussion will follow. The workshop is free and open to the public and will be held at our Hamburg Resource Center, 97 Main Street in Hamburg. Please RSVP via email.

JUNE 2 | RUN THE ‘BURG

Run the Burg for AutismA fun 5K walk/run to support ASI’s Resource Center in Hamburg
The USATF/RRTC certified race course winds through the heart of the Village of Hamburg. Pre-race registration and a post-race celebration will be held at J.P. Fitzgerald’s Restaurant located at 4236 Clark Street in Hamburg, just a few paces from the start and finish lines. The post-race celebration will include food, drink, live music and a supervised kid’s zone throughout the afternoon for those participating in the Run/Walk or anyone else simply interested in supporting the cause. MAY 6 | OPENING RECEPTION: THINK BIG

Think BIG: The Arts of Autism Services

APRIL 27| PAULA’S DONUTS CELEBRATES AUTISM ACCEPTANCE

ASI partners with Paula’s Donuts for Autism Acceptance
All Paula’s Donuts locations will donate $1 from every dozen purchased to Autism Services. Additionally, you can score a free donut by bringing in a Wish List item to benefit our Education Program – items requested include glue sticks, lamination sheets, dry erase markers, crayons or 1″ binders. All funds raised will help us build a playground at our new school location in Amherst.
