MARCH 23, 2017 | PLANNING FOR A LOVED ONE WITH SPECIAL NEEDS

APRIL 1 | SIBLING EDUCATION PROGRAM

ASI’s Clinical Department Staff will present the video “Understanding Brothers and Sisters on the Autism Spectrum” by Coulter Video.
The video will be followed by a question/answer period facilitated by our clinical staff, as well as networking opportunities for families. This presentation is designed for siblings ages 7-12 years old. No charge, but registration is required. This will be held from 11am-1pm.

APRIL 19, 2017 | AUTISM 101

In Autism 101 we’ll explore the communication and social needs of people on the Autism Spectrum. This workshop can be applied to a wide range of professionals and/or parents to address the characteristics of Autism and strategies for working with this wonderful population in a multitude of settings

This workshop will identify evidence based practices for teaching, generalizing, and maintaining social skills for children with autism spectrum disorder. Parents and professionals will learn how to directly teach skills, reinforce appropriate interaction, and generalize skills to various situations and settings.

ONGOING | MEDICAID SERVICE COORDINATION OFFICE HOURS

Every other week on Wednesdays, 8 am – 12 pm
Ilia Kresic, an ASI Medicaid Service Coordinator will be on site to answer any questions you may have about services available to you and your family when you receive an autism diagnosis. Check our calendar to find dates.
