IN-HOME CLINICAL SUPPORT PROGRAM

IN-HOME CLINICAL SUPPORT PROGRAM

The In-Home Clinical Support (IHCS) Program brings specialists into the home to assist the family in determining need areas of the child with autism and to provide clinical support to address those needs. The communication, sensory and behavioral challenges presented by people with autism spectrum disorders are often difficult for families to manage. These people are at an increased risk for residential placement prior to adulthood because family members are not provided with the support tools they require to ensure success at home. By bringing specialists into the home environment, we can bridge the gap between school and home, as well as provide an individualized support system to families. We have a clinician that will assess the child and provide consult support services to the family. This program is funded through a Family Support Services’ Contract.

We are currently accepting referrals for In Home Clinical Services (with a focus on behavior). We are also accepting referrals for Social Skills Services. Contact our Family Support Services Administrator at 716-631-5777 ext. 397.
